Fall Street

October 27th, 2010

Fall StreetHappy Fall! I started this drawing a while ago. It took a long time to color in all of the details on the houses. I’ve also been busy working on another big project. Hopefully, I can share details with you soon.

I recently started attending the  Los Angeles Westside Illustrator’s Schmooze. It was great to get together with other illustrators and talk shop. Next month we are going to the fantastic children’s bookstore, Every Picture Tells a Story in Santa Monica. They have a great selection of books as well as original artwork. By talking to the owner of the bookstore, I hope to gain some insight into the children’s illustration world.

I’ll have to check out the people you mentioned. I think it would be much
more fun to live on a street like the one in the drawing!
      Hope you’re doing well!
